The world is entering the hottest decade in the last 150 years.

The world is in the middle of what is likely to be the 10 warmest years since the start of the census in 1850, says “Met Office”. It is projected that temperatures for each of the next five years are likely in or over 1C compared to pre-industrial levels, the BBC reports. There is also [...]
There is also a small chance that one of the next five years will see global temperatures temporarily go above 1.5C. This is seen as a critical threshold for climate change. If the data matches the forecast, then decades from 2014-23 will be warmer in more than 150 years of data keeping.
Every year since then (year 1850), the global average has been near or above 1C. Now, the Matt Office says the trend is likely to continue or grow over the next five years. “We've just made this year's predictions and they come out by 2023, which suggest it's fast warming at a global level”, Adam Scaiffe, head of long-term projection at Zyren Met, told BBC News.
This is the first time that predictions have shown a great risk of overcoming ʹ is only temporary. We're talking about years of individual years that hover over the 1.5” level, Prof Scaiffe said. It is said that between 2019 and 2023, we will see temperatures ranging from 1.03C to 1,57C over the 1850-1900 level, with heat added over most of the globe, especially on areas like the Arctic, broadcast the world.
