Employment in Germany, new procedure lasts two weeks

When the regulation for the region went into effect on January 1, 2016, procedures for such cases were twofold, writes Tv Prizren.

Employers applied for visas to Germany's representatives in their countries, while employers also asked for preliminary permission in the employment office at the company's location, which led to the process for months. The German Foreign Ministry has declared:“It has already been simplified, because initial approval by the Employment Office is no longer needed. ”

According to them, the candidatis is enough to present all necessary documents to the German Embassy, including confirmation from the employer. Once the documents have been submitted to the consulate, they are checked by the relevant authorities in Germany, and if the conditions are met, there is also a visa. One of the verifications made is whether there are any German or European citizens with the same qualifications that have applied for the same job, so documents are sent to the offices.

Verification usually does not last more than 14 days. If there is delay, then it relates to the individual circumstances of the applicant. The conditions that must be met for obtaining a working visa have remained the same. And employment in construction or gastronom requires no knowledge of language or professional knowledge. Only for nurses or medical caregivers is language knowledge and professional school license testimony.
