There are 61 processes that started simultaneously. Edi Rama with opposition politicians, demanding hundreds of millions of cash in damages that he says will be awarded for charity.
And in the host of indictments, the prime minister has spared no journalists either. Among the indictees is journalist Ylli Rakipi for a scripture published by him in November 2018.
The list of indictees is led by former Prime Minister Sali Berisha. In seven indictments against him, Rama claims false statements stated by the former prime minister in television studios or social networks.
In the indictment of November 9th 2018, Rama requires 23 thousand USK compensation from Berisha, while in the other 6 indictments of 1 million dollars each.
In some of them, Rama urges the court to force the former prime minister to reject statements on his Facebook page, as well as in the media that have forwarded them.
After Berisha, chief prosecutor Lulzim Basha comes on the list of court envoys from Rama. In three indictments against him, Rama demands 1 million dollars and the denial of claims considered a slander.
