The director of Culture in Kamenica resigns from VVA: I was attacked and given ultimatums

Dear citizens of Kamenica. As you may know, the atmosphere at the center of Movement V EVIDENCE! It's been getting worse in Kamenica for a long time. Since the arrival of the current head of the centre, democracy and involvement in this organisation have been markedly choked.

Without wanting to play the role of veteran activist, I've been engaged in this subject for nine years and I think I know very well how this office works on the inside. So I've been there even when we were four or five people, we've had very little support as I've engaged with all my capacity in election victories in 2017.

Our candidate's victory in Kamenica was a great hope for citizens. Finally, it was a new spirit of government that was being installed and for which we had worked day and night activists and citizens of our municipality.

At the start of the local government mandate, many activists from the VV to the central level occurred. Like many citizens, we activists found it difficult to understand what was happening and what the reasons were. This debate and discussion as we all know it went on for so long.

However, I, along with several other activists, became part of the local government cabinet by running several municipal directors. Despite debates and clashes over the VV division, we continued working with camouflaged intensity to live up to the election program we had run.

Although without our desire, the atmosphere of separation and confrontations began to become common in our community. The exclusion and insulting behavior of the VV chairman in Camenica became even bigger and lower. Every day more, we began not to cool off at the organisation's internal forums. Activists instructed by the head of the centre organised libel, insinuation, and most different charges against those they considered to be contrary to the official line.

For months, worried, I've been working at the director's office and I've continued trying to get the situation back to our center and normal communication happens. Along with others, I have not left a single stone standing so that the disgusting war against us will stop because it was artificial and based on falsehood.

After continuous insistence, we managed to have an ex-V Secretary and other officials. At this meeting, which took place in November where we were many centrist activists, I had no hope that things would be settled after this intervention. Unfortunately, the weeks went by, and the attacks on us didn't stop, only they were sophisticated and increased.

The summit was reached at the March 25th meeting where VV Organising Secretary Camenica arrived. With great will to fix things, I ignored the Secretary again with all the problems that were in our center. Currently, I expected a more direct intervention so that the attacks would stop and democratic conditions of functioning could be created because the centre was already captured by the mayor. The answer I got was too much. CHALLENGE.

Instead, we were instructed that in any way we should be loyal to the head of the center. And to finally drown my hope, from the VV secretary, we have an ultimatum that if until March 29th, Friday, we don't resign from the local government cabinet, we won't be part of the VV and we'll be considered a line of traitors.

All these years of volunteer activity, I never believed that the day would come for me to be conditioned by a co-activist like we were dedicated by the Secretary. All these years, we've been taught to stand before the unjust powers and not submit to them, and the secretary asked us to submit to an unjust mayor who has captured the center.

I have engaged in the greatest sincerity of my life, believing that we can make our country a better place together. But when justice and equality as values that we've always promoted abroad, we lack completely inside, then commitment to this subject is impossible.

Having no regrets for these nine years of sacrifice, instruction, loss, and victory, I from today reveals my resignation from the V Movement I'm sorry. As a political activist that I am built I am not backed by any blackmail, slander, or president. I will continue working with all my potential so that we don't disappoint citizens who seek change in this small municipality.
