The human factor and the inefficiency of institutions in monitoring the technical controls of cars are being considered by citizens, as the two main causers for numerous accidents occurring in Kosovo. Meanwhile, Kosovo police are aware that compared to the same January-February period of last year, there are increasing fatal accidents.
On the other hand, the Thursday incident in Gjilan has been one of the most serious accidents, which resulted from the failure to stop a truck, kill a person, and 26 others have suffered bodily injuries. A life - loss accident happened yesterday in Podujevo. For all these accidents, citizens think that the main factor is driving carelessness.
Citizens Remzi Dobruna blames Kosovo institutions, which, according to him, have installed on technical controls are allowing all these accidents to happen. In contrast, from citizen Dobruna, the driver of communications, Nazim Martetta, who says that the only problem with accidents is the carelessness of drivers who he says were ignoring the rules of communication.
As for the other capital resident, Shaip Latif must have greater awareness of how he should conduct himself in general on the street, especially in communication.
Yet, despite this, he says that there should be special attention to the technical controls given to cars, since, according to him, if there is good technical control of cars, these accidents don't happen. For the other Pristina resident, Shaban Sekiraqa, in addition to the blame the institutions have to carry, a very important role in accidents is the human factor.
Kosovo police through a written response have told Kosova Preiss that the cause of these accidents is overcoming speed, the uncertain key to the road, not keeping distance, and the uncertain vehicle maneuver.
According to police data, in the short-term period of this year, by any means 12 fatal accidents, 14 people have remained dead. It becomes known, however, that 669 accidents with injuries have taken place, and 1310 have been damaged materially. And the total is seen as about 15741 accidents during this period.
