Court's Decision to Suspect Abbi Jashar

The Foundation Court in Pristina ʹ has decided on the request of the Basic Prosecutor in Pristina for the appointment of the detention move against trusted indictees Shkodra because of the criminal offence committed serious murder by Article 179 par 1.8 points of KPRK and criminal work holding in ownership, controlling or unauthorised possession of weapons by Article 374/1 KPRK.

The court has taken the decision and defendants Besnik Shkodra has been assigned the detention measure since 28.02.2019 to 28.03.2019.

“There is doubt that by 27.02.2019 about 11:30 in Pristina, defendant B. After some disagreements, it has now deprived the deceased A. J shooting with a firearm, which after the wounds suffered had passed away at the scene. The court has found that in terms of the Constitutional Prosecutor's request in Pristina, detention measures against defendants B have been appointed. S. after the same suspect is suspected of serious criminal acts, so if found in freedom there is the danger of fleeing with the aim of avoiding criminal responsibility and thus hindering the flow of criminal procedure”, the media communiqué reported.

The side has a right to complaint against that decision at the Kosovo Court of Appeal.
