So said Kosovo Police Director Rashit Qalaj, during reporting to the Commission for Internal Affairs, Security and Supervision of the Kosovo Security Force.
“Under various criminal acts we've had an increase in the number of murders of 18.51 percent, where we've had 32 cases. The number of light thefts has increased, while the number of heavy thefts has diminished. During 2018 we have detained 4.231 persons or 17 percent more than last year”, he said, speaking of the annual Kosovo Police Report for 2018.
He has also talked about statistics in communication, terrorism and domestic violence.
The Commission's deputies have been challenged with problems facing Kosovo police.
