The new members of the CEC, Thursday 28 March, will be sworn in before President Hashim Thaci.
Otherwise, the American Embassy in Kosovo has expressed concern over the failure to appoint ten representatives to the Central Election Commission.
Through a media response, the US Embassy says the failure to appoint representatives has made it impossible for the CEC to carry out its basic functions.
The US Embassy has asked President Thaci to immediately appoint the representatives to the CEC for the response, to return this institution's ability to work faithfully and independently for the benefit of the people of Kosovo.
