Kosovo Defence Minister Rrustem Berisha declared today that the new KSF mandate will preserve professional character, defence mission and, as such, is at the service of all citizens.
He made these comments during a meeting with Canadian federal deputy today, at the same time chairman of the Canadian Parliamentary Assembly of NATO, Borys Wrzesnewskyj, accompanied by Canada's ambassador covering Kosovo Daniel Makymik.
Minister Berisha, after thanking Wreznewskyj for Canada's great help and support for Kosovo, announced it with recent developments, the adoption of laws for the Kosovo Ministry of Defence and Security Force.
“We have pledged that the region will also have an Allied, interoperable force with allies and in the service of establishing and preserving lasting peace and stability in the region and beyond, not only consumer but also peace providers. Canada's support in the process is also very significant for the Ministry of Defence and KSF”, said Minister Berisha.
While, Wrzeesnewskyj has expressed Canada's support for the processes under which the Ministry of Defence and the Kosovo Security Force is undergoing.
