The US today said it was satisfied with the establishment of the investigative commission to uncover legal violations for the incident, but has added that full responsibility must be secured for anyone breaking the law, while calling on leaders that security institutions should act only within constitutional authority.
The US Embassy's letter also states that “is not about the guilt or innocence of individuals, but clear avoidance of Kosovo legal processes on the part of Kosovo politicians”.
The political pressure in the security sector to break Kosovo's law is a scandalous violation of democratic values. We promote full transparency in the security sector and in running external affairs, to prevent inadequate interventions by Kosovo politicians in the future”, the response was said.
In the support announcement, Great Britain has said Kosovo institutions should be responsible and submit to rule of law.
