He has said he is sceptical of the possibility of reaching an agreement with Serbia, which would ensure recognition.
In KTV's Rubik, Bajrami has said in dialogue Kosovo dares not open issues, which have been closed with earlier agreements, because the country would return.
He says he does not believe Serbia will recognise Kosovo, except without any benefit.
While he has also talked about the involvement of opposition parties in the dialogue process.
“The LDK has institutional practice and experience in dialogue, more has to be done for that party to get involved in dialogue, even to lead the dialogue. It has not been done enough for the opposition to engage in dialogue, especially the LDK. A consensus has had to be reached that shortly after dialogue, extraordinary elections were held. It shouldn't have been so easy to rule out the LDK conditions, because yet the LDK would still seal the dialogue, as the agreement will come to the Assembly and be voted in. The LDK is a party that has never ruled out changing calls. He has often sacrificed himself on such matters. Rugova was never interested in being head of the delegations”, Bajrami has said away.
“Vetevendosje has not been part of the dialogue processes. Neither in Rambouillet nor in Ahtisaari's plan. But it was consistent in its position on dialogue”.
The US involvement in the dialogue would have been a great help for Kosovo. Especially, the President Trump's call for mutual recognition. Kosovo's case would be the story of President Trump's success in foreign policy”, Bajrami added to Rubik. / P ERISCOPIA
