Police, gendarmes and soldiers will participate in a force show ceremony in the capital and the southern town of Nice, where French President Emmanuel Macron will meet with Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping during a visit to France on Sunday.

Despite the ban on protests in parts of the city of Nice, organisers of <x0-jeleeks --” -- are calling to protest in this country on Saturday, while protests are expected to be held in other cities of France. This is the nineteenth week of this group's protests.

Analysts are praising the troop march as provocation by the government. However, the Macron administration sees possible exit from the control of civil uprisings as a serious challenge to its authority and is determined to keep the situation under control following allegations that it has been unprepared for last week's protests.

Last week's protests brought violence and incidents. Violent protesters destroyed luxury, newspaper stores and one of the most special restaurants in “Champ Elysee”. Paris Police Commander was dismissed after his officers were charged with failing to prevent violence, writes the Guardian”, broadcasting Express.
