Application of innovative technologies in agriculture necessary for sector development

Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development Minister Dijana Zivic during the day hosted the economic adviser at the Albanian Ministry of State for Protection of Enforcement, Alketa Knuti, who along with Mr. Blerim Gendini, foreign investment withdrawal expert, introduced the ministry and its associates to the “Terra Holus” project. This project, according to them, is aimed at planning the efficiency of agricultural land.
During the discussion at this meeting, Prime Minister Zivic and those in attendance agreed that they are in favour of any initiative, and the project that would serve to develop and facilitate procedures for farmers living in rural areas, in order to create a more stimulating environment.
. “Application of new information tools and technologies, databases and innovations is thought to lead to greater competition, better management and reduction of administrative burdens”, the minister, Zivic, said at the meeting.
On the other hand, project representatives “Terra Holus” announced to Minister Zivic that the project they presented at this meeting is a project that implements the latest accurate technology in agriculture, as well as the digitalisation of farms.
