After an intensive three-month investigation into illegal smuggling, on March 21st, the Directorate for Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption of the Kosovo Police has arrested three people and seized a total of 99 pistols, smuggled medications, vessels laundering detectors, vehicles, ammunition and money. Police officers who reacted and investigated this case have accepted training sponsored by the United States. It is good to see their skills put into practice to make Kosovo a safer” country, representatives of the embassy have written on Facebook.
