Twenty years ago, numerous Serbian police, military and paramilitary forces massacred in the village of Beleg.
46 Albanians were killed and massacred there, and it is one of the largest massacres committed by Serb paramilitary forces.
in these days the fate of many of this village's dead people, as well as other villages of the Decani municipality, remains unsolving.
Serbian paramilitary forces 20 years ago launched a vicious offensive to Irzniqi and Beleg's population. That was after a day earlier they suffered losses from the Kosovo Liberation Army.
Today, the memorial complex of this village will be homazhes and wreaths of flowers will be placed.
And in the library “Hivzi Sulejmani”, public discourse is given “Today, 20 years ago: The case of Beleg”.
