Kosovo police with continued operational activities in the function of preventing road accidents
Drive/directing vehicles under the influence of alcohol involved one of the serious safety risks of road traffic.
Loss of human lives as a result of causing accidents in our streets even during this beginning of the year has been disturbing.
Kosovo police continue their commitment to realising concrete police plans, aimed at continuing to establish security in road traffic, as well as lowering accidents.
For this reason active measures are under way in the implementation of the “Operational Plan, the direction of the alcohol-inflicted vehicle”, where only during the period (01-16.03.2019) police units have been pronounced 102 (a hundred and two) tickets to countervators who have directed the vehicle under the influence of alcohol, and 2 (two) criminal cases have been initiated.
Likewise, we announce that Kosovo Police will take punitive measures against all traffic law offenders, with the sole goal of raising the level of safety in traffic and preventing traffic accidents in general.
