Workers' Union: The sooner you adopt the Law for RTK, or protest again

RTK's Workers' Union thanks all of RTK's colleagues and the Kosovo Radio Union Association for support in the two protests held a few days ago, where with the support of all RTK colleagues we managed to get RTK out of the law for wages, under which journalists would be treated as civil servants, while RTK would be transformed by a public media in the state.

“SPARTK calls on the Kosovo Assembly, which as soon as it passed the new RTK law, which would solve all problems within RTK, including the main issue of independent financing. SPARTK requires that this law be adopted as soon as possible, on the contrary any other delay is unacceptable to RTK colleagues. In the opposite case, we will continue the protests soon and use other measures allowed with union law.

SPARTK will no longer tolerate RTK remaining in the current situation, and all of this in the absence of the new law, which must urgently be approved”, says the report sent to the media.
