Wessel: Undiscovered are an integral part of this earth's freedom

Today, in the Republic of Kosovo's Parliament, the exhibition has been opened “Living with memories of the undiscovered”, with confessions of the family of the unknown, pictures of Father and Mula and treated by artist and architect Eliza Hoxha. Parliament Speaker Kadri Wessel, in his speech to those present, said that in the 20 years [...]
The Speaker of the Parliament, Kadri Veselin, in his address to those present, said that in the 20 years of freedom and 11 years of citizenship, Kosovo has had its joys and sorrows, Klan Kosova reports.
Wessel said Kosovo has managed to sanction the material consequences of war, but its spirit remains an open wound, for the fact that it is not yet known about the fate of many of our people. Wessel added that the wounds of the found are unscathed, and we want justice. He said Serbia should be responsible for that.
In many cases, art expresses pain and sorrow better than other forms of human expression, and this installation of Eliza Hoxha gives a better witness. Kosovo is a society that moves forward, works for the future, but never forgetting the past, the countless sacrifices of our people for freedom and dignity, never forgetting those we are missing for 20 years now. The missing are physically missing, but in our hearts and minds have always been present, because they are an integral part of the freedom of this land”, said Parliament Speaker Kadri Wessel.
Bajram Qerkeyni, representative of the families of the missing, said the pain of the innocent family must be reported in front of everyone.
The pain of those who are calling us, come take my father, why not take me back to my mother? We can't just talk anymore, but we also want to work, just as we have programmed”, Qerkey pointed out, hoping that in the future there will be more work and more results in whiteening the fate of the undiscovered.
The creator of this exhibition, Eliza Hoxha, said she hopes this exhibition already located in the corridor of the Kosovo Assembly will be a bell to answer the issue of missing persons.
I'm glad we're in an institution which actually has a different function, but it has opened the door that discussion and dialogue on the issue of the found, through another platform, that artistic -- to take place in his heart, just when the negotiating platform is being prepared, in which the issue is crucial”, Hoxha stressed.
One of the ideas of this exhibition, Conspiracy Koliqi, said this exhibition is a loud shout in this important decision-making facility, in hopes that the echoing of this horn will go to the ears and hearts of the people who decide, because, according to him, for the family of the dead, the war has not yet ended.
