After resolving the problem with the education strike, the head of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, Kadri Veselin, has warned that there will soon be a decision to resolve the issue of tax on Serbian products.
So as you see us today, we will also gather for the tax, for the interests of the country. Unitedly, we will give a reply”, Wessel said at a media conference after signing the agreement with the SBASK on halting the strike.
To suspend the tax, state leaders yesterday also held a closed-door meeting in the country's president's office, however, there is still no decision.
Even the embassy of the United States of Kosovo, through a media communique, has called for tax removal, stressing that such a decision would jeopardise Kosovo- USA.
After these international calls and pressures, the head of The PDK, Kadri Veselini, has proposed that the tax decision be suspended for 120 days.
