Wessel: We want to build bridges of communication even with those who don't love us

Kosovo Parliament Speaker Kadri Veseli, at the solemn session of the 11th anniversary of Kosovo Independence, has said that during this journey Kosovo has tried to build bridges of communication even with non-re loveable states, Periscopi reports. The history of our nation is history of nations. We will not allow ourselves to be held hostage by anyone. We want economic development, membership in the UN, in NATO, we want bridge-building with those who don't love us and who have prejudice against us”, Wessel has said.

Wessel has once said that during these years Kosovo has achieved successes, and that it already deserves membership in the Western world.

We as a European country do not deserve isolation. We know we're flawed, but no one can deny us the successes we've achieved as a place for these years, he said.

On this day Wessel has thanked the states that contributed to Kosovo's independence and statehood. He said Kosovo is a small country but has big friends.

On behalf of our nation, we express our deepest gratitude to these states for the great support they gave to our country. Religiously speaking, the blessed place is that of God on its side, while the blessed global policy is that of the Western world on its side”, Vessel said, reports Periscope.

On the other hand, he has said Serbia has deserved the tax and has called on political subjects to stay united in front of Serbia. /Persycopi/
