Why VV will send the Dialogue Bill to Constitution

On February 2nd this month, the Kosovo Assembly voted with 61 pro-read votes -- the Bill for Duties, responsibilities and competencies of the state delegation of the Republic of Kosovo in the dialogue process with the Republic of Serbia, respectively, the Bill for Dialogue. Shortly after being voted, Vetevendosje Movement MP Albulen Haxhiu warned that this bill would be sent to the Constitutional Court.
Haxhiu at the Coha.net Week Interview said that this Bill, in addition to being politically unacceptable, is also legal, even in large contradiction with the Kosovo Constitution.
It has shown the procedure of how and when to send it to Constitution.
If the same Bill goes into second review, we will be directed to the Constitutional Court. Under the Parliament's rule of work and according to the Constitution, ten MPs have the right to contest a Bill whether it is procedural or conservative. And, after second review in the Assembly, it is an 8-day term when we enjoy this right to send it to Constitution”, Haxhi told Koha.net.
But, Haxhiu says they don't have much hope in the Constitution, based on their past.
When there are international or even local pressures, the Constitutional Court makes no constitutional decisions. This institution, completely closed to the public opinion”, she said.
The Constitution, however, is not the final form in which Vetevendosje will be directed in the matter.
“We are discussing new organisations, protests and demonstrations” has said MP Hadziu.
We remember that when he was voted into the Dialog Bill, out of 91 deputies in the hall, 30 of them didn't vote at all.
