Serbia's Defence Minister, Aleksandar Vulin, has told his counterparts in Abu-Dabi, the United Arab Emirates, that his country cannot accept the formation of the so-called Kosovo military “and that only KFOR), led by NATO, is the legitimate force in Kosovo from Belgrade's perspective, reports Serbian news agency “Beta”.
In the margins of a arms and military equipment fair, Vopiin is said to have talked with Greek counterpart Evangelos Apostolakis; with Czech Minister Lubomir Metnar; and with EBAA Defence Minister Mohammed Ahmed Al Bocardi.
Voulin has thanked Greece for Serbia's support and for not recognising Kosovo's independence, while Metnar has told him that the establishment of the Kosovo Army is not in line with international law, and that it constitutes the biggest security problem in the region, the Vulin office has announced.
According to the office of Serbian Defence Minister Al Board and Volin, they have agreed that co-operation in the defence sector, between the EBA and Serbia, is high-level, but that there is still room for improvement, especially in training, medicine and military security.
The two ministers have announced increased military-technical co-operation and continued joint projects.
Earlier Monday, Volin has said that considerable interest in Serbian defence industry products has shown at Abu Dhabi's fair.
He has said that special attention has been paid to the Ralas missile system, the drones and bomber Nora B-52, but also to some types of ammunition. /Periscopi/
