Three unions have been put together in a letter to request legal interpretation of whether those involved in the Law for the Salaries are included. New Kosovo Energy Corporation, Independent Kosovo Post and Telecommunications Federation and Independent Union Coll STT, wrote to ministers Mahir Jagcilar and Valdrin Luka.

They want them not to be included in the Law on Salaries, with alibis that they are employees in independent companies, that do not depend on the state budget.
They threaten protests and strikes unless this Law was written down until next week.

“We representatives of independent trade unions, which represent employees of public enterprises in Kosovo and the aforementioned companies representing the basic functions of public services in Kosovo, are concerned with the restrictions that have been imposed on the wage bill”, said in the letter Koha Ditore provided.

In this regard, we ask that we be informed about the law on salaries of whether we are involved in higher companies in this law, as we are self-financed and independent companies from the state budget. We let you know that we from next week if we don't get the law interpreted in writing, then we organise protests and Grava”, next said on paper. /Periscopi
