Trump looking for 14 billion dollars of El Chapos

El Chapo was found guilty of over 10 counts weighing on him, including drug trafficking and money laundering.

The final decision is expected to be confirmed on June 25th, but one thing is certain; Sinaloa cartel boss will spend the rest of his life in high security prison “ADX Florence” in Colorado, from which no prisoner has yet escaped.

What, though, is of great interest to the opinion where the money from the <x0-king” of drugs is?

It's not a few but a lot of $14 billion. In the indictment set up in 2016, it is said that after the trial, the United States will begin research into its properties to find 14 billion dollars hidden.

However, it is not known how prosecutors have managed to secure the precise amount of money, whether they already exist somewhere hidden.

The 14 billion dollars gained from drug trafficking, but American prosecutors have never clarified how these were collected before”, declared Duncan Levin, former US deputy prosecutor who was focused on money laundering and real estate.

According to Levinig, El Chapo had gained a large amount of money from illegal activities and certainly there is such a amount of money”, but it is not known if they can prove it.

However, he claims that much of this cash has been spent.

I don't think El Chapo has 14 billion dollars, even though Sinaloa cartel's made a lot of money. However, they have also had expenses”, stating Mike Vigil, underlining the list of thousands of people paid to perform jobs such as obtaining planes, cars, trucks, submarines and underground trafficking tunnels.

A large amount of money has certainly been sent to the U.S., but another large part has been sent to Guzman's collaborators in Mexico.

The former cartel member who testified against Guzman, has claimed that he, in addition to private yacht planes, had bought houses on every beach in Mexico.

In his house on the beautiful beach of Acapulco, Guzman had a private zoo on a small train on which he traveled to see lions, tigers and pantherat”, this witness declared.

But there are also more practical investments such as sands and real estates that help clean up dirty money.

Narco-bos also financed churches, football teams and charity organisations in order to enjoy the reputation of a philanthropy.

But after it fell into the hands of the police, many people have felt depressed about having lost the main sponsor.

In 2017, the Mexican chief prosecutor declared that his country had managed to discover real estate belonging to Guzman, while the United States failed to find “as a $” after Guzman did not use the “financial system”.

The train department during 2014 had published the list of 288 companies, which in 2007 had put them on the blacklist for money laundering and related to Guzman.

“There are claims that the Mexican government has received myth. However, it remains to be seen how co-operative they will be at the attempt to locate real estate”, Levi has added.

A few days ago, several proposals began to circulate so that El Chapos's confiscated money could be used for the construction of the U.S. Mexican wall.

Texas Senator Ted Cruz has promised to pass a law that would allow El Chapos's money to be used for border security.
