The relations between Kosovo and Serbia have been complicated. We have 100-year-old problems of hostility and the fresh period of war in Kosovo in 1999. There have been 20,000 victims of violence during the Kosovo war, and no one has been convicted of that. The people of Kosovo have suffered much because of ethnic cleansing”, said President Thaci.
He has also talked about the agreements reached so far in Brussels, which he said most were implemented.
While the Serbian side conditions the continuation of dialogue with the removal of the tax on Serbian goods, President Thaci has called for the continuation of this process unconditionally, while underlining that the Serb community should not be used for the games of the Serbian state.
