Thaci for Bloomberg: year 2019 to be year of agreement

President Thaci in an interview for “Bloomberg” said he believes 2019 will be the year of the deal, “I want to believe that 2019 will be the year of the” agreement, because according to him, “This is the best way for our countries and the entire Western Balkans to move forward”.

Speaking of this agreement, the first of Kosovo has said such an agreement should close “all outstanding issues between Kosovo and Serbia”.

Asked why he was optimistic that differences can be overcome now, he has said that there is now a new <x0mmentum with the focus and increased attention of the EU, the United States and other international partners to reach an agreement, especially from the United States”.

While, when asked whether there is pressure to conduct the agreement before the European Parliament elections in May, he has said: “The sooner the better”.
