The mayor of Gostivar, Arben Taravari, has expressed condolences to the victims from today's tragic accident on the Skopje-Tetovo road axis, and prayers for recovery of the injured.
“Today is one of the worst days of Gostivar... in today's tragic afternoon accident, there are survivors, there are those we pray for... but... there are and victims! God ease the earth. May God strengthen the victims' families to face these terrible losses. May God help us to be strong at this moment of pain beyond imagination. Gostivar today is in mourning!” wrote Taravari in his letter of comfort.
Most of the bus travelers on the accident are from Gostivar. Otherwise, 13 people have lost their lives to this accident, while dozens of others have been injured.
