The Special Prosecutorial Union of the Republic of Kosovo went on strike yesterday because their demands have not been met. The union, it says the treatment of the KSF administrative staff is not fair, is discriminatory and conflicts with the basic principles of the contractual relationship.
During a meeting held on February 01st by the Special Prosecutor's Union of the Republic of Kosovo, as well as KPK management, staff support P The SRK has expressed their concerns about the Law on Salaries.
<x0ferating the Law in question, it is seen that the treatment of the special prosecutor's support staff and is not fair, is discriminatory and conflicts with the basic principles of the contracted relationship let, the principle of non-discrimination, conflicts with the Constitution of Kosovo and international conventions regarding the right to equal and dignified pay”, the Union says.
Besides, treating the Special Prosecutor's staff with this Law is reported to be deignive and decomposing for normal work functioning, so if the cofficient for P The SRK remains as it is in the Law, an effective and normal functioning of this prosecutor will be questioned.
“Sic can be seen from the adoption of the Law for Rewards, almost all of the Special Prosecutor's back-up staff have been dropped basic salaries by up to 50%, as well as all actual additions, including the addition to supporting the special prosecution for stimulating the fight of corruption and organised crime. Furthermore, the pay envisioned in the proposed new wage bill will jeopardise the social existence of support staff at PSRK”, the Special Prosecutor's Union says.
“Therefore support staff P The SRK requires that their salaries be equivalent to the salaries of Kosovo's support staff, given the importance and nature of work in the Special Prosecutor, risklessness and given that the judiciary is equivalent to the legislature and executive as separate powers, as defined in the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo.
Do not cut support staff salaries, as well as include all actual additions to the new wage law as basic wages.
And withdraw the law in question, review it and improve our demands and basic principles of non-discrimination, the same wage for the same job, based on the importance of position and jobs.
We believe in your correct attitudes that the mission of justice is insensitive and that neither does anyone have the right to intervene by violating our functioning as an independent body. We trust in the hope that our reaction will find your understanding, recognize the ritual will prevent the degradation of the prosecutorial system through the law of wages, or our positions will take the rightful position according to the cofficients equivalent to the other positions in the R. Kosovo.
Without our will, we are obliged that by our organisational will that in case our request is not realized, we will use our union tools and that “G REVEN” as the most important means for realising our rights starting with the date 04.02,2019 days of the moon, until the fulfillment of our righteous demands.
With respect,
The Grevist Council of the SPRK Union” is their reaction.
