In a media communiqué, the prosecution has estimated that this law is discriminatory for staff, as well as conflicts with the principles of contractual relations.
” Therefore support staff P The SRK requires that their salaries be equivalent to the salaries of Kosovo's support staff, given the importance and nature of work in the Special Prosecutor, risklessness and given that the judiciary is equivalent to the legislature and executive as separate powers, as defined in the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo. ”
Below complete announcement without interference:
At a meeting held on the date 01.02,2019 of the Special Prosecution Union of the Republic of Kosovo ) P SRK, as well as with KKP management, we support staff P SRK, we express our serious concerns about the draft Law on Salaries. Reference to the Law bill in question, it is seen that the treatment of the special prosecutor's support staff and is not fair, is discriminated against, and conflicts with the basic principles of contractual relations, the principle of non-discrimination, conflicts with the Kosovo Constitution and international conventions concerning the right to equal and dignified pay.
Besides, treating Special Prosecutor's staff with this Drift Law is deignive and degenerative for normal work functioning so if the cofficient for P The SRK remains as it is in the Drift Law, an effective and normal functioning of this prosecutor will be questioned.
As can be seen from the latest draft wage law proposal, almost all of the special prosecutor's support staff have been dropped basic salaries by up to 50%, as well as all actual additions, including additional special prosecutorial support for stimulating the fight of corruption and organised crime. Furthermore, the pre-paid salary in the proposed new wage bill will jeopardise the social existence of support staff in the PSRK.
So the support staff of P The SRK requires that their salaries be equivalent to the salaries of Kosovo's support staff, given the importance and nature of work in the Special Prosecutor, risklessness and given that the judiciary is equivalent to the legislature and executive as separate powers, as defined in the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo.
Do not cut support staff salaries, as well as include all actual additions to the new wage law as basic wages.
Also, withdraw the law in question from voting proceedings in the Kosovo Parliament, reviewing it and improving our demands and fundamental principles of non-discrimination, the same wage for the same job, based on the importance of position and jobs.
We believe in your correct attitudes that the mission of justice is vulnerable, and neither does anyone have the right to intervene by violating our functioning as an independent body. We trust in the hope that our reaction will find your understanding, that knowledge will prevent the degradation of the prosecutorial system through wage law, or that our positions will take over the rightful position according to the cofficients equivalent to the positions of other powers in the R. Kosovo.
Without our will, we are obliged that by our organisational will that in case our request is not realized, we will use our union tools and that “G REVEN” as the most important means for realising our rights starting with the date 04.02,2019 days of the moon, until the fulfillment of our righteous demands.
