Following the mandate's surrender, Democratic Party leader Lulzim Basha has displaced protesters in front of the PD headquarters, urging them to stay there after, as he put it, the united “posor put the key to the Parliament's”.
Basha has warned that in the coming days there will be more protests across the country.
“From today begins the journey of Hope”, Basha said, warning protests across the country.
“Albania will have a future and this will be your future, your families'. We want to end injustice, impunity. With free elections we will have a government for the people and the people. Albania will have a future. This is the message of the united” people, Basha said.
The Democrat leader concluded his word by singing the National Himmin as well.
