At the Constitutional Court today, it was meant to hold hearings against Fehmi Musa, accused of acts of terrorism related to “Badovci”, but in the absence of the prosecutor, sessions were postponed.
For the second time, trial against Musa is postponed because prosecutor Drita Hajdari is missing.
The chairman of the court, Valbona Selimaj, said the prosecutor has informed us that she is in training.
The next session is scheduled for February 22nd.
The Supreme Court has for the second time turned the case known as “Bavci” into retrial, but unlike the first time, this time the Supreme Court has ruled only for one of the accused.
Fehmi Musa had been sentenced to three years in prison by the Constitutional Court and later confirmed this sentence by the Court of Appeals, but the Supreme has turned the case into retrial.
Musa was convicted of a criminal act of assistance in pushing terrorist acts.
The other three indictees Milazim Hadziaj, Gazmend Haliti and Enis Latifi in July last year were sentenced to 3 and a half years in prison, while Besnik Latifi was sentenced to 4 years and 6 months in prison.
