The Serbo-Americans, with a petition of 37 thousand signatures, have asked US President Donald Trump and the US Congress to stop economic aid and support Kosovo.
“Stop supporting Thaci's criminal regime in Kosovo, in its foreign and domestic policy”, the Serbian news agency Tanjug reported.
The petition is required “to prevent the expulsion of members of non-Muslim religions, as well as the destruction of monasteries and traces of European culture”.
At the end of the petition, it also requires keeping a debate in Congress on the impact and expense of American foreign policy in Serbia “in Kosovo, which destabilises the” region.
The petition and resolution of the organisational committee of the Serb-American community a few days ago has been handed over to President Trump, US Secretary of State Pompeo, as well as to the heads of Foreign Policy Committees in the Lower Room and Senate, Tanjug reports.
The signing event continues further, the Time.net broadcasts.
