Sejdiu in an interview on the “Dosier D” show at RTV Dukaagjini has said there were no jobs to declare independence on November 28th and several additional consultations with international partners were needed.
The “vision in the United States at the time was very significant. We have also had meetings in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Italy, thus completing the composition of events that would take place on February 17,”.
The first president after the declaration of Independence, says the request to declare independence on November 28th 2007 was more the requirement of several cultural institutions, but we were cautious of a possible reaction of the northern Serbs.
Speaking of possible corrections of the territory, Sejdiu has said he supports Kosovo's sovereignty on the borders that have been recognised by powerful states.
According to him, other initiatives for Kosovo are at risk for Kosovo.
For reports with the United States, Sejdiu has said the last letter sent to Kosovo by three senior American officials is unusual, but according to him <x0-leter has kindly intentions towards Kosovo”.
Sejdiu has said the LDK should be declared for dialogue, whether it is part of it or not.
