Rapporteur The EPA wants peaceful protests: The Burning of Dangerous Terms

The rapporteur for Albania in the European Parliament, Knut Flickenstein, expressed concern today about the boycott or burning of mandates by the opposition, claiming that “I have heard that the opposition will not for the first time burn mandates, and that we do not understand in Brussels”. In a response to the burning of mandates that came after the violent protest [...]
In a response to the burning of mandates that came after the February 16th violent protest, Flickenstein stresses that <x0-politicals, MPs are elected to represent a better alternative to the parliament than government policies. How can they do so if they do not participate? Second, I've heard there may be a boycott of the elections as well, but I hope this is just a rumor, because I think elections will still be held”, Flickenstein underlined.
The third thing, he says, is the protests.
In principle, it's good because it shows that people want to be noticed, and as long as it's peaceful, I think it's human right and they have to express their feelings. I've seen mostly very peaceful people in protest, but I also saw some who used violence against the prime minister. We need to be clear to all, whether the opposition or the majority that violence is not allowed. And we need to be clear that those who invite to protest are responsible, they need to see that protesters on the street are peaceful”, Flickenstein stressed.
The rapporteur for Albania at the European Parliament says that “I am not sure if the protest will impact, as long as they are peaceful, if they are not certainly peaceful, because those who invite people are responsible, they should also organise. I'm more concerned about boycotting or burning mandates, I'm not sure that it will be disturbing if Albania doesn't have a functional parliament or if the opposition doesn't contribute, so I'm thinking it will affect and I can just hope that whoever finds out that it shouldn't be surprised if they're pushed again.
And this is a very important point of our visit, and it doesn't belong to just one party, E PP, SNT, liberals, greens, we all agree on one thing, please don't give up the warrants, please do your job. Furthermore, as opposition politician you can organise peaceful rally, but it should not be the solution, MPs are elected to represent their voters in parliament, this should be clear to anyone, but not new, all know that this is my opinion, even Edward Kukan's from the EPP, and from two major parties in Europe”, Flkenstein/ A TSH.
