The PDK branch in Gjilan has reacted to the news of the physical conflict among its officials in this city.

According to the PDK, this news is false and aims to dim the performance of the internal election process at this party.

This is the full reaction of the PDK's branch in Gjilan:

The news published today in the portal, titled “Rrahje in the PDK branch at Gjilan”, is completely false news. This disinformation, launched by designated persons, is aimed at dimming the performance of the internal electoral process at the Democratic Party branch in Gjilan.

The internal electoral process in Gjilan started this week, and an extraordinary mobilization of PDK structures, sections and subs are seen to elect the best at the party's top at the local level. Internal elections are being joined by a large number of citizens without perceived party commitments, making this important and democratic procedure.

With this reaction, we want to announce the opinion and media that the Kosovo Democratic Party branch in Gjilan is more united than ever before and that there is no division and there was no conflict.

The electoral process, which has already started, will continue at all sub-shelfs in Gjilan and the overall performance, has caused panic for current power in the municipality.

Such design cannot halt the empowering of the PDK branch in Gjilan. This false news is intended to harm the process and excellent election procedures conducted so far by the Democratic Party branch in Gjilan and all of Kosovo.
