They demanded last night the resignation of Education Minister Mladen Sarcevic, state television director Dragan Buyosevic.
The protesters also left boxes of paper in front of President Vuciq's office.
Participants in the protest were many professors who demanded the minister of education's resignation after his statements, where he said professors supporting the protest are not great names.
In addition to Belgrade, protests for the first time took place in northern Mitrovica, which was organised by the Serbian List.
Within the crowd of protesters were family members of the late Serbian politician Oliver Ivanovic. Also close to them was renowned Serbian politician Rada Trajkovovic.
Since the start of the protests, Vuciq's departure as president has been requested, but the latter had said that even if five million protesters came out I would not resign.
In Serbia, extraordinary elections are expected to be announced in the spring.
