In Abu Dhabi, the country's capital, where it will stay until Tuesday, Francescu, the first pope in the Arabian Peninsula, will attend tomorrow's religious meeting on the Human Brotherhood, along with 700 leaders of different religious faiths, beside Al-Azhari's great imam, Ahmad Al-Tayeb.
On Tuesday he will meet the local Catholic community, composed especially of immigrant workers from the Philippines and India, in a mass considered the first of such sizes throughout the Arabian Peninsula.
Today, the pope leaves Rome at 1: 00 p.m. and is expected to arrive at Abu Dhabi at 10: 00 a.m. local time.
