It is the first of the 2,500 current members to have the Kosovo Security Force, who has experienced the feeling of flying a butterfly.
And, therefore, Africa Zabel is the first Kosovo Army pilot.
Two months after his graduation, Zabel has been accommodated in the fast reaction brigade at Istog, KTV reports.
But since that day, he has not flown.
He says he lacks the feeling of being in the air and that's happening because Kosovo still doesn't own a helicopter.
Five years he attended the Land Aviation School for Helicopters in Turkey, and about 13 months took him to win the pilot's license.
Still says there's fresh minutes of piloting and how it was handed over by the inspector.
The KSF will soon be added to two more pilots, who are also completing pilot schooling at Turkey's Military Academy, and Zabel says they will jointly form the Force Air Unit.
Zabel, who lost his father and brother in war, says he has put a mission on himself.
Africa Zabel from Drenica's Rezalla, his trip to the Kosovo Army started in 2011, and as a pilot was certified a day before KSF took over the army's efficiency.
