The Commission for Public Administration, Local Governance and Media has held a closed media meeting today, in which the Parliamentary Bill is finalised, which is expected to be put to the polls tomorrow at the Assembly session, which will begin at 10:00.
Social Democrat Party MP Shqipe Pantina, a member of this Commission, in an interview with Periscope has said the Commission today has reviewed the reports and remarks of permanent commissions.
“They've had remarks in some amendments since they were not in line with the budget, or with legislation in effect. We have examined in detail all the remarks and passed them unanimously. The Commission has also reviewed the Government and SBASK's agreement to break the strike and has approved the requirement to raise the cofficient for 0.1 percent. We've been trying to examine all the disappointments that have emerged and put them in the final draft of the bill that will go tomorrow for a vote in the Assembly”, Pantina said of Periscope.
Despite the changes that have been made, Pantina has said that not all will be satisfied with this Law.
Of course not all will be content with this Law. We as the Social Democrat Party are not completely satisfied, but we will vote on it. The draft has undergone improvements from the government's initial version and our three demands that the cofficiency for senior political officials, as well as increased education and stability. They're involved in the final version. So we will support the Law on the Gentiles and two other laws. There will be room for the future to be revised”, Pantina said further.
During the Periscope interview, Pantina has said that this law will finally put order in the chaos that has existed so far on the salary issue.
This law now sets a chaos rule that has existed on the salary issue. There was no law that put order in the public sector's payment sector. It is acceptable to have displeasure with him. There have been numerous pressures from different interest groups, but the final draft, with all warnings, creates a equality and offers equal pay for the same work for public service”, she added.. / P ERISCOPIA
