“Reports between Kosovo and Serbia must be adjusted. This is very important”, Ruairi O'Connelli said on the Pressing show.
He has said that if no agreement is reached, Kosovo will have problems.
O'Connell has also talked about the idea of exchanging Kosovo territories.
He says they are concerned that the idea of changing borders has been repeatedly mentioned.
“I saw lack of transparency. We are concerned that the idea of changing borders has been repeatedly mentioned. This is the logic of the past that states must be more or less ethnically clean. This can't be in line with the approach we've had so far. This is destabilising”
“Change of borders is dangerous in the Balkans. Can't constantly talk about changes of borders”, he says.
O'Connell says peace cannot be reached or any agreement can be reached just by touching borders.

According to him, Kosovo expects internationals to extend principles in this process. The ambassador says it is Kosovo that should propose attitudes for dialogue itself.
