The new experiments are part of a wider NASA programme, this time to stay there and use the moon as a springboard for a further and ambitious journey, towards Mars planet.
“The willingness of the moon with the Earth makes it an initial valid point for human exploration”, the chief executive of the country said. NASA, Jim Bridenstein.
The US space agency plans to build a space station around the moon, ” Lunar Gateway”, follow the GSH.
“Huna has, in fact, a scientific value and a great potential for producing valuable resources such as water and oxygen,” added Bridenstein.
The experiments will go from researching radiation on the moon's surface to earth's composition, from analysis of hydrogen's quantity to studying lunar atmosphere and magnetic field.
