The Kosovo Assembly has not approved the amendment, which requires the removal of additional Kosovo Assembly deputies.
The purpose of this amendment is to have no addition to the convents. Suppose Kosovo's deputies, in addition to the basic wage, receive additions to parliamentary commissions, additions to the session. That's why we've proposed that only the members of the Municipal Assembly have this addition because their salary is small, but with that, they've increased their cofficiency. With the cofficiator we have the MP's salary, it's huge that's over 2,000 euros. We don't need additions. If MPs have the base salary they don't go to the hearings after receiving it, but the goal has been that if you don't participate in the hearings then tow them off the base salary”, the amendment's proposor Albula Haxhiu has said.
