Environment and Spatial Planning Minister Fatmir Matosi and Minister of Economic Development Valdrin Luka attended the Western Balkans Interministerial Meeting on Energy and Climate in Podgorica, with what the joint declaration for a clean environment and real diversification of energy was signed.
At the meeting, where the EU Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn was present, discussed common problems and challenges in the field of environment, energy and climate.
Economic Development Minister Valdrin Luka introduced the commitment and achievements of the state of Kosovo in the field of environment, energy and climate change. He also delivered the news that Kosovo has adopted the Strategy and Action Plan for Climate Change, which was welcomed by the Hahn Commission, as the EU request and the Kosovo Progress Report.
Otherwise, the declaration was signed by Kosovo, Albania, Montenegro, Serbia, northern Macedonia and BiH.
