Minister Bytyqi first thanked U n NICEF for continued support in education and willingness to provide expertise for the drafting and accrediting of programmes based on skills in Kosovo's formal education.
The minister stressed the importance of these programmes for life-skilling equipment and youth jobs, while setting the need for proper information on the benefits young people can gain from these programs, especially the program U n PSHIFT, through which they can develop technological, innovative and creative skills.
At this meeting, we also discussed the joint commitments of MAST and U NICEF in preventing the dropout of schooling, as well as the importance of education in early childhood and the need for parental awareness through various information material on the matter.
Bytyqi and the Leader U n NICEF, Murat Sahin, agreed that MAST in collaboration with U NICEF to launch a awareness campaign in the family, where package will be offered to parents with information on the importance of education and health for ages 0-3.
