That's what it says at a KDI media conference, an organisation that mentioned the school “Fan S. Noli”, Kamenica. At this school, toilet conditions are severe.
The Kosovo Democratic Institute has held a meeting between the parents of students of this school and municipal representatives, under the meetings that KDI has held to identify the problems that residents have in different Kosovo municipalities, during the implementation of the “Accountability of Local Government institutions” project.
Parents have sought to intervene in such toilet arrangements, adding that their children are in danger.
Ilirjana Maloku, says her child has fallen on the stairs leading to the toilet, suffering head injuries.
Arian Mavriqi, also a parent of one of the students, claimed that fixing these toilets is an emergency.
Parents also mentioned that by the date 20,09.2018 with 32 signatures, they have forwarded the complaint to the Ministry of Education, the Mayor of the Commission, Stand Kastrati, and school principal Mustafa Rhudhan to undertake something as soon as possible.
According to them so far, the municipality has taken nothing into the matter, causing parents daily to worry about the health of their children.
The municipal official from the Education Directorate, Sabri Morina, suggested that these concerns would be addressed in the municipality to undertake something.
