The defence ministry's competition for recruiting young people for service at the KSF has opened on February 11th of this year and will be closed on February 22nd. From the start of the competition until yesterday to become part of the KSF applied a total of 3 thousand and 653 people.
By February 20, 2019, 3 653 people have applied. Within a day, it has happened that over 11,000 people have applied” were said in a response to Indexline from the Ministry of Defence. A total of 650 new recruits will be accepted from this competition opening early this month in the KSF.
“According to the Defence Ministry plan, 650 new recruits” will be accepted.
While the screening procedures, filtering and selection that all applicants must follow are thus: Initial examination of apps, skills test, physical test, written and oral interviews, medical test, training, verification, appointment and appeal rights.
Kosovo Assembly deputies on December 14th gave the Green “” to convert the Kosovo Security Force into the Kosovo Army. With over 100 votes for all political parties except the Serbian List, MPs voted the three bills that changed the KSF's mandate to Kosovo's defence army, but without changing its name to the latter.
