On the 11th anniversary of Kosovo Independence, the obelisk of “Newborn” will be painted in highlighted colors, aimed at awareness of Kosovo citizens for conservation of the environment, for air protection, and for recycling of waste.
This was made known by the creator of this obelisk, Ismaili, who during an interview with the newspaper “Voice” said this idea came from the country's polluted air. Ismaili has also announced that this year the monument of “Newborn” will be created a foundation in order to be used in the future as a tourist attraction by people coming to the city of Pristina.
Ismaili's plans include opening a restaurant near “Newborn” with the name of this monument, and selling figures of this monument.
