Near infernal war: India throws bombs on Pakistani territory
India says it has staged a series of air strikes against militants on Pakistani territory, escalating tension between the two countries.
A senior Indian minister said these attacks were targeted by a Jaish-e-Mohammad group training camp in Balakot, translated Periscopi.
Relations between countries with nuclear weapons have been tense following a suicide attack that took place earlier this month and killed more than 40 Indian troops.
India accuses Pakistan of allowing militant groups to operate within its territory and says Pakistan's security agencies have played a major role in the February 14th attack, the BBC follows.
These attacks are the first to occur since the war in 1971. /Periscopi
