Journalist Baton Haxhiu said in an interview for “Themora” with Sonia Mecon at Nea's hour that Prime Minister Edi Rama does not have a public position on the issue of exchange of territories. According to Haxhiu, all those who say Rama is pro change of borders are heartless.
Part of the conversation:
Haxhiu: How can you be so heartless with your country because you insult the prime minister for the fact that he has a position on the Kosovo issue.
Mecho: There's an attitude. Rama on the issue of partitioning Kosovo?
Haxhiu: No! As far as I know, there's no public standing. Private I don't know because it's worth nothing.
Mecho: You're very close, Mr. President. Rama. You advise him on so much for Mr. Thaci?
Haxhiu: I give judgments on what's good for this country because I live here. I give judgments for Albania because I live in Albania.
If you ask me why I am about joining Kosovo with Albania to give you 1mm reason why. The statistics are that Kosovo is very old and Albania's population is half by half.
