Avni Arifi, adviser to Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, has told “Zerin” that there is no indicator or other basis showing there is a change in Government as far as tax is concerned
The 100% firm tax on products coming from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina has caused state leaders to have diametrically opposing positions on the issue.
Chief Prime Minister Kadri Wessel in the week we left behind has handed his written proposal for the 120-day suspension of the tax in order to preserve Kosovo's interests and partnership with the United States. Unlike Wessel, however, Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj continues to be steadfast for failing to issue a tax.
In this regard the prime minister's cabinet chief, Avni Arifi, for “Zrin” has stressed that there is no indicator leading to the removal of the tax. “We have a government position, I as head of the prime minister's staff have no indicator or other basis that shows there is any change in Government as far as tax is concerned”, he said.
